Make is a bespoke furniture and interior studio based in Sydney, Australia. They work with leading architects to create flawless cabinetry and furniture pieces for exceptional residences. We were engaged to redevelop the branding for this practice. The identity needed to resonate with an architectural audience and reflect the craftsmanship, simplicity, and attention to detail that Martyn and the team apply to every commission.

A beautifully simple M monogram depicts a dovetail joint, a ubiquitous part of the furniture maker’s craft.

By rotating the symbol 90 degrees, the M monogram turns into an E, also serving as a symbol for Martyn’s professional snooker cues produced under his own name, Everitt.
