In the spirit of reconciliation, we
acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of
country throughout Australia and their
connections to land, sea and community.
We pay our respect to their Elders past and
present and extend that respect to all
Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander
peoples today.

We acknowledge the Gadigal People of the
Eora Nation as the traditional custodians of
the land on which we live and work.

Goulburn Regional Art Gallery Identity—Arts
WorkBlock object (663)

Goulburn is a regional city in the Southern Tablelands of New South Wales, about 200kms south-west of Sydney. The Goulburn Regional Art Gallery provides the region with the opportunity to experience and participate in the best of local and national art. We embraced its unique history and idiosyncrasies – its wool industry, pastoral landscape and environment are all referenced in the identity. This is particularly evident in the logo–the repetition of form in the symbol is meant to reflect tilled soil, wool and mark-making found in Australian art.
